Obituary of Genevieve Henderson

Genevieve "Jeannie" Henderson 75 of Oxford NJ died Thursday at Easton Hospital, Easton PA. She was born in Jersey City NJ on September 3, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Kot) Chiniewicz. Jeannie was a member of the Port Colden Methodist Church. She was a member of the Oxford Young at Hearts Club and she also was very active in the Oxford Township Election Board. She is survived by her loving husband Joe Henderson. They celebrated 53 years of marriage in 2013. Also surviving are two brothers Henry Chiniewicz and his wife Barbara of Oxford NJ, and Edward Chiniewicz and his wife Janet of Grand Saline Tx, two sisters, Mary ( Monya ) Briegel and her husband Jed of Oxford NJ and Barbara Schubert and her husband Robert of Hackettstown NJ, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Visitation be be held Monday August 12 from 4-6:30 PM in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ 07882. Funeral Services will follow 6:30PM in the funeral home. Cremation will be held at the HG Smith Crematory Stroudsburg PA. Burial of Cremains will be Wednesday at 1PM in the Pequest Union Cemetery, Great Meadows NJ.
