Russell Hopkins of Oxford, NJ died Thursday, January 11, 2007 at Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ at the age of 72. Born May 3, 1934 in Mountain Lake, NJ, he was the son of the Frank and Maude (Gray) Hopkins. Military Russell served in the Korean War in the Air Force from 1954 to 1958. Survivors: One son: Russell Hopkins of Easton, PA; two sisters: Merla Sawran of Oxford, NJ, Helen Hopkins of Califon, NJ One Grandchild Predeceased by his brother, Gerald F Hopkins Services: Friends may call Tuesday One hour preceeding the funeral at DeVoe Funeral Service Inc., 136 West Washington Ave, Washington, NJ. H e was in my edding party when I married my wife, Carol, in November, 1967. A few years ago, we stopped in to see him at the nursing facility, and he remembered me. I sent him a Christmas card and letter this year. I hope some read it to him. He was a good guy.
