Oh Beth, I am so sorry to read of Tom's passing...he was truly a one of a kind guy. I remember being a little girl walking the halls of oxford school and he always greeted everyone with a smile and/or a wave. I know that you and yours will surely miss him. Sending hugs and well wishes your way. <3

I was so saddened to hear about the passing of Mr. Zellers. We worked together at Oxford Central School for many years. Mr. Zellers was always so kind and helpful. I never had to ask twice if I needed something for my classroom or needed help with anything. I still have the Big Book storage unit that he built. When I was expecting my first child, he always reminded me, "Your fun has just begun." He was a great man and a pleasure to work with.
I also had his sons in my class. They were both very smart and kind. His wife was so nice too.
I hope that you will find comfort in the many memories you made together. Please know how much Mr. Zellers was valued and appreciated, and missed.
God bless you all.

To the Zellers Family,
So very sorry to hear of Tom's passing. We were class mates at Oxford Central School many years ago. When ever I came back to Oxford I would go over to the school and we would walk around the school, sit on the steps and talk about how much fun we had. Then he moved down to the Jersey Shore and we lost touch, however, I always kept him in my thoughts.

Dear Beth and Family,
So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I've known him for years as our families were neighbors. He and my Dad spent many hours discussing cars and tools. He called me some time ago after he had been looking at photos from years past.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time.

The first time I met Tom he had a colorful bird on his shoulder and a cigar in his hand. He came out to welcome me to my new trailer across from his. He was a sweet man who always was eager to lend a helping.
My sincere condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.

Dear Beth and all of Tom's family. I spent many years of work with Tom, both at Warren Haven and Oxwall. I totally agree that Tom was a very sincere employee at both places. I will never forget how Tom was more than happy to do some repairs for my mother. He and Mr. Whitmore went out of their way to do a good job for mom. He even went out and bought a special tool of some sort so he could do it right. Tom and I went all through Oxford Central together and I remember even then he would have rather been home in the garage, rather than in school. I was up at Hillside Cemetery one day and I saw a little Volkswagon coming up to where I was. I knew it had to be Tom. That was the last time I got to talk to him. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Beth, Tom and Shaun, We are so very sorrry to hear about your loss. Tom was one of the kindest people we have ever known and his love for all the students of Oxford Central was so apparent every day he was working at the school. We are so glad that we got to share in his life while our boys were in school. So glad to hear about all the grandchildren. We are sure he was in his glory! Take good care of each other.
