My heart breaks for the loss of this sweet, sweet woman. I have so many fond memories of this wonderful human including when Cathy and Butch opened up their home to my family on Christmas Eve one year. It was a wonderful time and very much appreciated. Sending condolences to Cathy’s family. May your memories give you strength during this difficult time.

Butch and Rose ,there aren’t enough words to tell you how much we love Cathy,Cat, Pooch....I called her Pooch, she called me Blondie. Did you know that she is the only person who gave me a Bonified nick name? The first time I really talked to Cathy is when I was sitting outside on our front steps in Jersey. That was the beginning of a friendship that Will last until I see her again. Miles may have separated us but that’s all. I honestly think of her everyday. I drink from Glasses that she gave me and a blanket that she crocheted is on my bed. She gave me ,Blane, Heather and Frankie a piece of her heart. Love you Cathy, Rest In Peace my friend.

My dearest Cathy. We've known each other since birth - an entire lifetime. So much we've shared over our lifetime and memories I, for one, will never forget. I remember the times you came to our family picnics when we were so young. We had so much fun then playing by the lake, eating and laughing. You were there for me when my Dad passed when we were both 13 years old. I remember when you were moving to Long Island and how we both held on to each other crying thinking we'd never see each other again. And then I visited you over a weekend in L.I. and we went bicycle riding together. When you moved back to Brooklyn, we were so very happy to be together again. You came to Wally's house when my Mom passed away and met again with the crowd at Vivian's house 18 years ago. We had such a grand time that day. These are just a few of the memories we shared.
We always called ourselves sisters...and we were. In heart and soul. I will miss you so terribly much that my heart breaks. But I know you'll be in heaven where you will be welcome with open arms.
Our sisterhood/friendship lasted a lifetime and the memories will always be with me. I will miss you so much my sister. I will always love you and will remember you with all the wonderful fond memories that we shared with a smile on my face because you were always a wonderful person to know and to love.
Be in peace my sister and one day we shall meet up again.
With all of my love to you...your sister, Nina

My Dearest Sister how can I ever express what I feel in my heart. I will miss you with every breath that I take, with every sunrise and sunset, with every passing day.
Our lives were never easy but together we always made it through. We both finally found the husbands that were true and loving. Butch stood by you through thick and thin, through the good times and the bad. Even when your sons walked away and kept your grandchildren from you Butch held you close and gave you comfort. My children became your children and grandchildren and they loved you so very much and will until forever. They asked nothing but your love and you gave a heart full. Oh my Dear Sister I came to visit you not to bury you. You weren’t suppose to leave me.
I Love You so much. Hold and Kiss Dave, Michael, Mommy, Daddy, Mimi and Honey for me.
Forever your Sister Rosie
