I remember joe during his years at Washington high school. Especially his interest in other people and friendships he wanted. He was involved with Hackettsetown also in singing events. I was a bass in the quadrants, which was a barbershop quartet in Washington high school in the 50s with Ethal Gardner our music instructor. Two of the quadrants were killed in a car crash going to Hackettstown for a singing event, and Joe brought me back to washington that night. It was a sad moment in my life. But to know Joe was also memorable for me. Jay Bryan, class of 1961.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I grew up hearing Joe sing at Mass in St. Joseph's and he was wonderful. May his angelic voice join the heavenly choir at the Throne of God.

I just learned of Joe's passing. I knew Joe and the Edolo Family during my assignment at St. Joseph's, 1983-86. He was a true Christian gentleman with a strong faith and wonderful singing voice! The Family was very kind to me and I felt the warmth of their love during visits to Mrs. Edolo's home. May his soul rest in peace. Be assured of my prayers. Fr. Andy.

To the Edolo Family, My Sincere Sympathies to you in the loss of our beloved Joey. I will always remember his great singing voice at the many funerals he sang at St. Patrick's Church with Betty Gress at the organ. Now he is singing before our heavenly father. May he rest in peace, Amen!

What a loss, not only for his family but for the community that he served so unselfishly. When Joe lived up the street from us with his mother he used to always walk by my house and talk with my two sons, who were quite young and curious at that time. He answered all of their questions with such grace and understanding. He is now singing with the angels, and loving every minute of it. We will forever remember your heavenly voice. Sincerely, Fred and Maryann Perry

I used to sing with Joe in St. Joesph's Catholic Church way back in the 60's. His voice was always amazing. I will never forget when he sang ""Morning has Broken!"" at my brother's wedding. He will surely be missed.

I was so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I am sure he is singing in heaven right now, in the Heavenly Choir. Joe sang at my wedding in 1974. I can still hear him singing the Lord's Prayer. What a blessed person he was.

Joe was a great guy. We will miss him singing in the choir at St Josephs Church in Washington NJ.Even tho that was a long time ago. Now he is singing in Gods choir. My Aunt Grace(Van Nostrand) sang with him and my brother and I served as altar boys in the church where he sang. He had a beautiful voice. I used to see him walking around and would stop to say hello, but I'm not sure if he knew who I was. He had a great smile and seemed to be happy all the time. My whole family sends prayers and condolences to the Edolo family. Joe is in a better place and we all know he is singing to God....The Ryno Clan

As you call him home and our hearts remember this special friend, We Thank You, FATHER~~~ For so many of us have been blessed by the life and ministry of this man. His music, his tenderness, and his laughter have forever graced the lives of those who were fortunate enough to share in his journey. Joey taught us, by his own example of determination and strength, that every struggle promises immeasurable blessings if only rooted in faith and trust. And that theres no limit to what we can accomplish or how many lives we can touch, if we only strive to make the most of what God has given us. Joey was truly an inspiration and it goes without saying that many will miss him. I, for one will especially miss the gift of his beautiful voice ~ a voice that undoubtedly now resounds before the throne of our heavenly Father. Thank you, Joey for bringing so much beauty and joy into our lives. And thank you, FATHER for sharing the gift of this special life with all of us.
