Obituary of Mary Forte

Mary K. Forte 90, of Phillipsburg, NJ formerly of Washington, NJdied Saturday July 24, 2010 in the Care Center of Brakely Park. Born In Newark NJ on October 16, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Sophie Demczyk Kucy. Mary worked for the Karen-Lou Company inWashington, NJas a Presser retiring in 1985. Before that, she had worked at the old Tunsol Factory in Washington. Upon retiring, she worked part-time for the Washington Greenhouses in Washington, NJ. She was an avid gardener who took great pride in her plantings. Memberships: Mary was a long time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Washington, NJ. Surviving her are a nephew, Andrew Kucy; a niece-in-law, Sabina Amberg; two grand-nephews, Daniel Amberg and Alan A. Amberg; a great-great niece and three greatgreat nephews. Her loving husband, Edmund preceded her in death in 1980. She is also predeceased by three siblings, Joseph Kucy, Mike Kucy and Anna Amberg, and a nephew Alan J. Amberg.
