Obituary of Amelia Amy Moore

Amelia “Amy” A. Moore, 88 of Englewood , FL, died Sunday, June 28, 2009 in the Florida. Amelia was born on January 20, 1921 in Garfield, NJ, a daughter of the late Theodore and the late Catherine (Lisik) Beresky. She was married to Archie Moore from 1970 – 1993 when he passed away. She and Archie co-owned the Archery Shop, in New Village. She was a Machinist, employed by American Can Company, Washington, NJ. Amelia loved to garden and spend time with family. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Jennings of Washington, NJ; two sisters, Julia Johnson and Eleanor Wojchiechowski; three brothers, Theodore, Joseph and Michael Beresky; three grandchildren, Dawn, Amy, Howard and six greatgrandchildren, Howard, Ashley, Brittany, Amber, Austin and Brielle. In addition to her parents and husband, Amelia is predeceased by her brothers, John, Matthew, Paul, Peter Beresky and her sisters, Anna, Mary, Olga, and Eva. Friends may call on Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at DeVoe Funeral Service Inc., 136 West Washington Ave, Washington, NJ. A funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
