Obituary of Karen Boan

Karen Boan, 67, of Belvidere, NJ passed away at home on October 29, 2017.  

Karen was born on December 20, 1949 to the late Arthur and Marion (Buchanan) Boan in Trenton, NJ.  

She graduated from the South Hunterdon High School and worked for the State of New Jersey in recycling.  She loved animals mostly horses and dolphins.

She is survived by her by her sister Judith Morrero of Lambertville, NJ; brothers Arthur Boan and his wife Beverly of Eatontown, NC and Wayne Boan of Lambertville, NJ; her closest niece Rayanna Marrero and many nieces and nephews; longtime friends and wonderful neighbors Chris Secor, David Torres and Brenda Bricket.

Viewing will be held November 4, 2017 from 10-12 pm with a funeral service at 12 pm at the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882.  Internment will follow at the Summerfield Cemetery in White Township, NJ.
