Obituary of John Godfrey

John Michael Godfrey, "Mickey", 62, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away in his home on March 22, 2015. John was born March 5, 1953 in Phillipsburg, NJ to John and Nancy Godfrey. He attended Warren Hills High School where he was an avid wrestler. He continued to be a big wrestling fan throughout his life. John was a self-employed trucking broker and had also worked at Johanna Farms. He was known to be someone who would help anyone who needed him and he loved to travel. John is survived by his son, John Michael Godfrey II and his wife Molly of Easton, PA and his daughter Jakki Godfrey and her husband Joseph of Jersey City, NJ , his parents John and Nancy Godfrey of Washington, NJ and his sister Deborah Tuggle of Smithville, TN. He was predeceased by his wife Kimberley Craig and his brother Daniel Wayne Godfrey. A graveside service will be held at 2pm on March 31, 2015 at Stewartsville Presbyterian Cemetery 550 North Main Street, Stewartsville, NJ.
