Obituary of James Perry

James D. Perry 86, of Mansfield Twp NJ died at his home with his loving family by his side on August 31, 2010 after a long illness. Mr Perry was born in Franklin County, NC on November 7, 1923. He was the son of the late Daniel and Mary King Perry. He worked for Ingersol Rand in Phillipsburg for many years. He had also worked for the Board of Education in both Franklin and Mansfield Townships. Mr. Perry was employeed at the Warren County Day Training school in Mansfield Twp NJ. He was a veteren of the United States Army. Mr. Perry was a proud and dedicated member of the Hillcrest Seventh Day Adventist Church in Mansfield Twp. NJ. He loved his church and held many positions within the church including Deacon and Elder. Survivng is his loving wife of 51 years, Mamie Woods Perry, three sons Willie Eugene, Clarence, and Michael, three daughters Annette, Cennie and Shirley, a brother Dorsey, three sisters Roberta, Juanita, and Bethina, 15 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren. A son James, a brother and 4 sisters have preceded him in death. Visitation will be held Saturday September 4th from 5-7PM at the Hillcrest Seventh Day Adventist Church 590 Rte 57 East Port Murray NJ 07865 (908-689-7774). Funeral Services will be Sunday at 2PM in the Church. Interment will be private and held at the convience of the family.
