Esther L. Thornton, 89 of Oxford, NJ died Friday, January 22, 2010 at Warren Haven Nursing Home, Oxford, NJ. Mrs. Thornton was a Homemaker. Born December 27, 1920 in Newark, NJ to the late Albert and the late Lillian May (Riley) Hollenbeck. Esther is survived by: one daughter Arline G. Cooke of Hackettstown, NJ, three sons: William H. Thornton And Wife Charlene of Kaska, PA, Donald P. Thornton And Wife Betty Jean of East Stroudsburg, PA, Howard J. Thornton of Easton, PA 11 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren A private cremation was held at Somerset Hills Cemetery, Basking Ridge, NJ.
