Obituary of Barbara Wisneski

Barbara J. Wisneski, 68 formerly of Kenilworth, NJ passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Bon Secour Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. Barbara was born on January 12, 1943 in Irvington, NJ. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony and Lorraine ( nee Glodzik) Jaworski. Barbara was a high school graduate of Union High School and continued her studies at Jersey City State to get her associate’s degree. After getting married to the late Paul S. Wisneski Sr. they moved to Neshanic Station, NJ to raise their children. Barbara was the owner of Fresh Hair, Flemington, NJ where she was also a hair dresser. They both retired to Hemlock Farms, PA. She was a volunteer at the Hemlock Farms library, a member of the Happy Hookers crafts and crocheters, a member of the scrabble club, and a member of the Hemlock Farms Women’s Club. Barbara loved scrabble and spending time with her grandchildren. She is predeceased by her loving husband; Paul S. Wisneski Sr. in 2005. She is survived by a daughter; Susan Czahor of Paupack, PA, two sons; Paul S. Wisneski Jr. and wife Donna of Washington, NJ, and Scott D. Wisneski and wife Jennifer of Washington, NJ, a brother-in-law; Stanley F. Wisneski Jr. of West Palm Beach, FL, five grandchildren; John J. Czahor Jr., Kasey Hummer, Owen Wisneski, Justin Wisneski, and Benjamin Wisneski, and her dog; Taco. A visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011 from 2-4:00 pm. And 7-9:00p.m. at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's memory may be made to SPCA Animal Shelter,576 Stamets Road, Milford, NJ 08848 or St. Jude Children's Hospital,501 St Jude Place Memphis,TN 38105.
