Obituary of Carol Ann Coughlan
Carol Ann Coughlan, 72, of Wind Gap, PA, died Thursday, May 24, 2018, while in St. Luke’s Hospital. Carol was born in Houston, Texas, daughter of the late Edward Ray Hughes and Ruby Margaret Brink. Her Step-Father Fred Exner and his wife Mac Exner also predecease her.
Carol moved from Texas to NJ where she met her husband Joseph P. Coughlan. She was a loving mother to her two sons. She was a bus driver for Barker Bus for 20 years, and worked at other various jobs. She always loved and raised dogs, and other interests were participating at the Wind Gap Auction. Her greatest passion was the love she had for her sons, and her grandchildren, and doing all that she could for them.
Carol is preceded by her husband in 2009 and her son John Wesley Coughlan in 1979.
Carol is survived by her sons Robert Coughlan of Stroudsburg, PA and Joseph Coughlan and his wife Faith Coughlan of High Bridge, NJ; Grandchildren Jacquelynn Coughlan, Stephanie Ramos, John Coughlan, and a Great Grandchild Joseph Elijah Ramos; her sister Debra Exner of Phoenix, Arizona.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 10:00 am to 11:00 am at DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc. 136 West Washington Ave, Washington, NJ. Interment will follow the service in Fairmount Cemetery, Fairmount, NJ.
