Obituary of Alexander Pendolino

Alexander Pendolino, 93 0f Washington NJ died Thursday February 25, 2016 in the Care Center of Lopatcong in Phillipsburg NJ. He was born in Plainfield NJ April 2, 1922. He was the son of the late Patsy and Mary Previdi Pendolino. Alexander was last employed as a Custodian for the Spruce Run School. Prior to that he was a Welder at Eagen and Sons in Lebanon NJ. He served in the U.S. Army and was part of the New Guinea South Philippines Liberation. Alexander loved fishing but most important to him were his grandchildren. He had attended the Shepard of the Valley Church in Holland NJ He is survived by his wife of 52 years Irene Babcock Pendolino, a daughter Maria Anne Reese. A brother Eugene, three sisters Jean Beck, Francis Rossi, and Marion Celentano and two grandchildren Rebecca and Justin. Three sisters, Ann Wilson, Rose Pendolino and Kathryn died earlier. Funeral Services will be held Monday evening at 7:30 PM in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave, Washington NJ 07882. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service 5:30 – 730PM. Cremation will be private, Donations are requested to the family in care of the funeral home.
