Obituary of Beatrice Oliver

Beatrice Oliver 77, of Port Murray NJ died May, 25, 2010 in Easton Hospital. She was born in Spartonburg SC on December 15, 1932. She was the daughter of the late William and Ada Thomas. Beatrice had worked as a nurse at the Hunterdon Developmental Center in Clinton NJ for many years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and crochetteing. She had a passion for her bible and gospel music. Her husband Joseph preceded her in deathin 1997. Surviving are her son Michael DeVeaux of Port Murray , a brother Bill Thomas in France and several nieces and nephews. Beatrice was also predeceased by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral Services will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11am from the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ 07882. Family and friends may call on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm and again on Wednesday morning from 10am until time of services in the funeral home.
