Obituary of Joan M Frederick

Joan M, Belese Frederick of Vienna, NJ, passed in her sleep on September 3, 2015. Born on March 6, 1940, she was the eldest child of John J. Belese, Sr. and Minnie (Metz) Belese. In addition to being survived by her mother Minnie of Washington, NJ. Joan is survived by her two daughters; Robyn Frederick Chiappetta, with whom she resided and who took care of her during her illness and Joni Cahoon of Pattenburg, NJ. She is survived by her granddaughter, Justice Chiappetta, whom she loved and cherished and who was her constant joy in life. In addition, Joan is survived by her three sisters, Barbara Sinkbeil of Washington, NJ, Bonnie Kelsey of Great Meadows, NJ and Linda Trimmer-Ackerman of Clinton, NJ and her brother John J. Belese, Jr. of Washington, NJ as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Joan graduated from Washington High School in 1958. She was employed by the Hilton Hotel in Parsippany, NJ as Banquet Captain for 25 years before retiring in 2004. She was an avid Yankees fan; and although she never went to Yankee Stadium, she never missed a game, watching with her granddaughter Justice. Calling hours will be Sunday September 13, 2015 from 1-3pm with a memorial service following at 3pm. Cremation was held at H.G. Smith Crematory in Stroudsburg, PA. The DeVoe Funeral Service has been entrusted with the arrangements.
