Sarah Shihanian of Oxford, NJ, formerly of Hasbrook Heights, NJ died Sunday, December 23, 2007 at Forest Manor Health Care, Frelinghuysen Twp, NJ at the age of 95. Born July 13, 1912 in Union City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and the late Carmela (Gallo) Lauria. She enjoyed crochetting & knitting, and loved to cook for her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband, George Shihanian; son, Thomas Alia; three brothers; one sister and granddaughter, Dianne. Survivors: She is survived by a daughter, Joanne Sampson of Oxford, NJ; a son, George Shihanian & Wife Theresa of Hasbrook Heights, NJ, 4 Grandchildren, Thomas, Jamie, Lisa & George and 4 Great Grandchildren, TJ, Michael, David & Stephanie. Services: Friends may call Thursday from 10:00am to 11:00am at DeVoe Funeral Services, Inc., 136 W. Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ.
