Obituary of David Vega

David M. Vega 76 of Bath PA, died Monday March 24, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brooklyn NY October 14, 1937. He was the son of the late Oscar and Aili Wehanen Vega.. Before retiring, David had been a Bio Medical Technician at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp NJ. He served in the US Air Force from 1955-1959. An Outdoorsman, he loved fishing, hunting and gardening, especially tending to his roses. He also enjoyed an occasional game of golf. But most of all was his love for the Lord and studying the Bible. Surviving are his wofe of 54 years Gale (nee Schoonmaker) Vega, two daughters Cindy Lee Streng and her husband Michael of Bangor PA, and Nancy Ann Kitts and her husband Charles of Roseto PA, 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A brother Arthur Vega preceded him in death. Funeral Services will be celebrated at 11AM Friday March 28, 2014 in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ.
