Obituary of Edith Wilson

Edith A. Wilson,93 of Belvidere, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, September 2, 2011, after a brief illness just weeks away from her 94th birthday. She was surrounded by her loved ones at the time of her passing. Edith was born on September 26, 1917 in Svea, MN. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Victor and Alma ( nee Johnson) Anderson. Edith and her late husband Everett C. Wilson, who were farmers, moved to Washington, NJ in 1958. Edith was a homemaker ,“farmers wife” , and cared for her children.Edith and Everett “Ed” were one of the first parshioners at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. She was instrumental in the church. She is predeceased by her loving husband Everett C. Wilson in 1984. She is survived by her beloved children, daughter; Gail W. McKane and husband Scott, her sons; John Still and wife Kathy, and son Lewis Still and wife Deborah, ten grandchildren; Vanessa, Michael, John H., Brenda, James Everett, Joni, Kenneth, Nick, Jamie, Lewis, and Stephanie, and 15 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 214 State Route 31 North, Washington, NJ 07882. A burial will be T 2:00 pm in Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society; P.O.
