Nothing is harder than the death of a child. Brea is your child, but there is nothing childish about the amazing fight and the grace that she showed over the last three years. Love you Bre <3 You are the greatest friend a person could ask for. I am glad that so many of my memories from high school and the couple years after have you in them. you were my closest and best friend for a number of years. the only thing that led us to grow apart were the typical distractions in life... college, work, marriage... but I got to see you one last time. a few years ago right before you got sick. I finally was able to contact you and reconnect. I picked you up that night from your house and we went for a drive. I could of driven all night just to catch up with you. it made me realize how much I had missed you all those years we were apart. but I will never forget all of the memories I shared with you. all of the bullies I fought for you. I still have 2 full shoe boxes of notes you wrote to me over the years. ive saved every one. you grew into such a beautiful kind loving person and im so sorry it was cut so short. I know you are in a beautiful place now, free from pain, and most of all, I know you are happy. I hold you in my heart breanna lynn. I always have and I always will.

I have known Breanna since she was in grade school. Every year my family would have a huge picnic in our back yard. The Ziegler family would always attend. Every year, without failure, I would have all the food out, people would start eating and Breanna would politely look at me with that sweet face and ask me if I had any butter. You would think after several years I wouldn't forget but I did. Who could forget the years of softball? I know I can't. I got to spend quite a bit of time watching Breanna and my youngest daughter play softball. Anybody who watched softball games in NJ knows there is always a chance of cold weather, hot weather and even rainy weather. But.. no matter what the weather was, Breanna played and I never saw her when she didn't smile. Even if she struck out, got thrown out, wasn't playing, she smiled. I don't think I ever saw her get angry. I was blessed to have had the opportunity to spend time with Breanna while she was growing up. She turned out to be one of the most beautiful young ladies I ever saw. I love you Breanna. I am so glad you were a part of my life. Keep a close eye on all of us from heaven and I hope to see you when I get there!

My heart goes out to your family. I don't think I ever met Bre, but both of my boys, Mike and Alex Luna, went to school with her and worked with her at Donaldson's.
