Obituary of Agnes Yonocsko

Agnes Yonocsko, 93 formerly of Washington, went to the Lord on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at St. Vincents Hospital, Leadville, Colorado. Agnes was born on November 12, 1917 in Lebanon Twsp., NJ . She is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Austin and Lillian (nee Lisk) Sliker. Agnes was a member of the United Methodist Church, Washington, NJ and Asbury, NJ. She was also a member of the Eastern Star # 136. Agnes worked as a counter person for Burger King for 16 years. She was also a seamstress for many years in Washington. She also liked to sew, read, garden and cook. She is survived by her two sons; Gary and wife Rosemary Yonocsko of Leadville , CO , and Raymond and wife Diane Farley of Glen Gardner, NJ, three brothers; Paul Sliker of Riegelsville , PA , Frank of ME, and David Sliker of Parma , ID , 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by two brothers; Edward and Irwin Sliker, four sisters; Virginia Butler, Ethel Deemer, and Elsie Cooper and Ruth Lowe, a son; Frank Farley, and 2 daughters, Patricia Allen and Ruth Cameron. A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2011 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A service will follow. Interment will follow in Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton , NJ . Donations in Agnes’s memory can be made to Animal Humane Society; 845 Meadow Lane North, Minneapolis, MN 55422.
