Bruce, Andrew, Philip and family, having just lost my own mother to cancer this Thanksgiving I know that there really arenât any magic words to say. However, Iâd like to let you know how much Chris meant to me. I first worked as Chrisâs LTA the first year she was at OMS and then was lucky enough to come back and work with her a few more years. She was one of the most inspirational people I have ever met. She truly cared for her students and gave her all- this was something they realized therefore they worked much harder than they normally would have to please her. She also gave the rest of us hope and encouragement. She will be missed more than I can say.

Chris and I shared so many great times at TSC learning to be teachers. Even though we were seperated by many miles over the years we always stayed "connected" and had almost parallel lives. Dear Bruce, Andrew, Philip and family, It is hard to put into words how much I appreciated, admired, respected,and thoroughly enjoyed knowing Chris. She was a very strong advocate for her students and I'm sure they always knew how much she cared about them and wanted all the best for them. For several years, Chris' room was across the hall from my room and it was so wonderful to come in to school and see her whole face smile. We shared many good times. I was so saddened to hear the passing of Chris. My heart goes out to Bruce, their sons and the rest of the family. I have wonderful high school memories with Chris and the cheerleading squad. There wasn't a mean bone in her body. Rest in peace Chris.
