Obituary of Carl Martin

Carl W. Martin, 72 of White Township, NJ passed away on April 22, 2011 at Easton Hospital, Easton, PA surrounded by his family. Carl was born on July 21, 1938 in White Township, NJ. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Earl and Gladys (nee Barrett) Martin. Carl was a farmer his whole life. He was an avid hunter and gardener. He was a member of the Methodist Faith. He is survived by a sister; Alice Martin of White Township, NJ, a brother; Kenneth Martin of White Township, NJ, a nephew; Ralph McDermott, and two nieces; Sandra Fritz and Kathy Opdycke. He is predeceased by his brother; Donald Martin and sister; Grace McDermott. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A service will follow and be held at 11:00 a.m at the funeral home. An interment will follow at Summerfield Cemetery. Donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
