Obituary of Henry Baxter
HC Baxter, formerly of Washington, NJ died Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in Stone Mountain, GA.
Born December 18, 1941 in Dothan, AL; he was the son of the late Will and Argusta Baxter. He is survived by his wife Ruby Baxter of Stone Mountain, GA, 1 brother, Bolzie Lee Baxter of Albany, GA and 2 loving sisters, Catherine Baxter of Petersburg, VA and Everdean Davis and husband Jesse Davis of Conyers, GA, 4 children, Tony Jordan, Carmalita Baxter Clark, Hasan Baxter and Taron Baxter, 7 grandchildren, 6 nieces, 3 nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
He moved to New Jersey when he was 17 years old and was employed at American Can for a short while before joining the National Guard. He married and started a family and later moved to California for several years where he worked in the entertainment industry working scenery for sets. He remarried in California and return to Easton, PA where he own a local business. After the death of his second wife he relocated to Stone Mountain, GA. He was an entrepreneur in the dry cleaning business and had a real passion for family, laughter, jazz, gardening and luxury cars. He was always a country boy at heart who loved nature, fishing and the smell of country fresh air.
He will be missed forever by all of those who have loved him and continue to do so.
