Obituary of Queen Elizabeth Williams
Queen Elizabeth Williams was born on January 14th, 1946 in Halifax County, NC to the late Sandy Williams and the late Hattie (Alston) Johnson. Queen departed this life on Monday October 28th, 2019 at Saint Lukes- Warren Medical Center,
Queen resided with her parents in Red Bank, New Jersey where she began her schooling at the New Jersey Developmental Center in Totowa, N.J. She resided at the Vineland Development Center beginning, April 16, 2014, prior to transitioning to her latest residence at Willow House in Stewartsville, NJ.beginning on March 3rd, 2015.
She was the youngest of seven (7) siblings. Viola (Williams) Bert, Moses Williams (deceased), James Williams (deceased), Orange Williams, Elnora Johnson Williams (deceased), Edward Johnson (deceased) and James Johnson (deceased).
Queen loved ice cream. She enjoyed listening to music, watching TV, thumbing through magazines and often carried a deck of playing cards around with her. She loved shopping, going out to eat, and going to the park. She just loved going.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories: her sister, Viola Bert, her brother, Orange Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, three roommates and many extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at the Monmouth Memorial Park in Tinton Falls NJ on Wednesday November 6,at 12:00 pm in the cemetery mausoleum. Relatives and friends may gather from 11:30 am until the start of the service in the mausoleum.
