Obituary of Bertha A Bush

Bertha A. Bush, age 76, of Washington, NJ formerly of Hampton NJ died Monday, November 18, 2019 at the Morristown Medical Center. Bertha was born July 1, 1943 in Phillipsburg, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Oliver and the late Sarah (Wolfinger) DeVatt. She married the late William J. Bush on June 13, 1962.

Bertha loved going to the casino and playing cards but her favorite love of all was spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters; Linda Jayne (Greg) of Washington NJ; Darlene Hoffman (Robert) of Hampton NJ; sons William J. Bush Jr (Jennifer) of Arlington, TX; Kevin Bush of Clover SC; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Bertha was predeceased by her two sisters; Mae and Elizabeth and her six brothers Oliver, Joseph, Alfred, Sam, Harry and Frank.

Relatives and friends may gather with the family on Saturday November 23rd from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service 142 West Washington Avenue, Washington NJ 07882. Words of remembrance will be offered at 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service privately.
