Obituary of Gregory Scott Dickinson

Gregory Scott Dickinson, age 47, of Oxford NJ, formerly of Washington Township (Warren) passed at home on the morning of December 24. Greg was born May 22, 1972 in Phillipsburg, NJ. He is the son of Lynn (Volckmann) Dickinson and Leonard S. Dickinson (deceased). He is also survived by a step father, Charles Miller.

Greg was a graduate of Warren Hills High School 1991, he was a lover of the outdoors and a master of all trades. He enjoyed fishing, hiking and was and excellent artist. Greg also had a great sense of humor and always made those around him laugh.

He is survived by; his beloved mother Lynn (Volckmann) Miller, daughters; Brooke Lynn and Cheyenne; sisters Lori Snyder and her husband Tom and Kimberly Ambrosino and her husband Salvatore. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews; Thomas and his wife Ashley, Brandon, Devon, Vincent and Giovanna. Great niece Sylvia, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his companion Merridee Lee and pets, Potter and Sandy. He was predeceased by a brother, Jeffrey, and grandparents, Harold and Carolyn Volckmann.

Greg lived in Seattle, Washington for ten years and worked for Frank’’s Doors Inc. Most recently he worked at Auto Parts Plus in Great Meadows and Barton’s West End Farms in Mansfield Township.

Friends and relatives may gather with the family on Monday December 30, from 10:00 am until the start of the service at 1:00 pm at Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 142 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ. Burial will follow at the Montana Cemetery, Harmony Twp.
