Obituary of Jacqueline L Clauson

Jacqueline L. Clauson of Oxford, NJ passed into the loving arms of God Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at the Hunterdon Medical Center. Jacqueline was born November 9, 1964, in Easton, PA. Jacqueline graduated from Warren Hills High School in 1983. She worked as a CNA at Warren Haven Nursing Home as well as a caregiver for Home Instead. As a long-time and valued member of the Oxford Second Presbyterian Church, she was serving as an elder, Vice President of the Presbyterian Women's Fellowship, and the church's coordinator for Family Promise of Warren County. She will sorely be missed by her church family. Jacqueline loved reading, watching old black and white movies, and music of all genres. She was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. She was an animal lover, and her dogs, Daisy and Winter, and her cats, Sassy, Ripple, and Waffle, will miss her terribly. Jacqueline was a loving daughter, mother, sister, niece, and friend. Everyone who came in contact with Jacqueline knew she would always step up to help in any way she could. She gave shelter and food to many friends of her children in their times of trouble. Jacqueline is survived by her mother, Bonnie Riley, stepfather, Patrick Riley, children, Steven, Arthur, and Erika Clauson, brother, Michael Barone, stepbrother Matthew Barone, halfbrother and halfsister Edward and Barbara Blomquist, and aunts,Kathleen Kroitor and Florence Blomquist, as well as many cousins. Services will be private under the direction of Knoll-Devoe Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 142 West Washington Avenue, Washington, NJ. Burial will be private at the Hillside Cemetery, Oxford, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jacqueline's name to Oxford Second Presbyterian Church, PO Box 58, Oxford, NJ 07863.
