Obituary of Allen Charles Smith

Allen C Smith, 79, of Oxford, NJ, quietly passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospital Warren Campus. 

Allen was born July 23, 1940, in Newton, NJ, a son of the late Charles  and Agnes (Rudy) Mohrle. His beloved wife of 50 years, Jeanne F Smith, passed away on January  2, 2014.

A graduate of Belvidere High School, Allen was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He worked as an ITO forklift operator at American National Can Co. for over 30 years. Fishing, playing billiards, watching westerns and country music were his favorite pastimes.  He was a member of St. Rose of Lima parish in Oxford.

Allen will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his son Allen (wife Donna) of Hamilton, NJ, Eric of Oxford, NJ, Laurie (late husband Michael) and five grandchildren, Shannon, Savannah, Kelly, Michael and Matthew Lynch all of Lopatcong, NJ.

Due to NJ State restrictions at this time, all services will be held private. Those who wish, may visit Allen, at his final resting place with his beloved wife Jeanne, at the St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Oxford after April 3, 2020.
