Claire Perich

Obituary of Claire Agnes Perich

Claire Agnes Perich, 73, of Belvidere, New Jersey passed unexpectedly into the arms of our Lord on Friday, April 10, 2020. Formerly of East Hanover and Byram, New Jersey, Claire is predeceased by her parents, William and Mary (Chrzanowksi) Perich, her sister Elizabeth (Perich) Holm, and her sister-in-law Rochelle (Sobel) Perich. Claire leaves behind her brother William Perich, and her five children: Kristen Graeber, James "Jimi" Graeber, Linda (Graeber) Hines and her husband John Hines, Mary (Graeber) Beley and her husband Chris Beley, and Ellen (Graeber) Knight and her husband James Knight. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren: Sophie and Natalie Beley, Rachel Hines, and Ethan and David Knight. She also leaves two cousins, Gene Cybulski and Cindy Stark, many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.

Claire dedicated her life to the care of others. Having graduated from St. Michael's Nursing School, she practiced a variety of nursing care from the operating room to assisting patients on the phone at Bayer. Notably, she cared for her beloved mother until she passed in 2017. She considered raising her "five totally different and independent" children to be her greatest accomplishment. Her dedication, selflessness and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of all those whom she loved. She had an uncanny ability to talk to complete strangers and be at ease no matter where she was. Claire enjoyed crocheting, especially baby blankets, sewing, collecting owls, and going to Bingo. She will also be remembered for her amazing homemade pierogies and kolaches. Her holiday table was always full because of her warm and open heart that "all were welcome."

The children of Claire would like to thank those who cared for our Mother at Warren Haven Rehabilitation and Nursing Center while we could not be with her. Your care for her means more than you will ever know.

As a result of the ongoing health crisis, her family has postponed services until they can fully honor and celebrate Claire's life. If you would like to send condolences to the family please visit www.knolldevoefh.com
