I was a care giver for Ida. She was one of the kindest ladies at the Chelsea! Always worrying about us and other residents well being. She would often tell me to get home safe or be careful driving home when she knew my shift was almost over. She had a warm cheerful personality that I will greatly miss. I will never forget the day she hunted me down and insisted I took three mints from her. "One for breakfast, one for lunch, and one for after dinner. And don't go spoiling your appetite!" She would often say.
My heart goes out to all her loved ones and family. Such tough times we must all go through emotionally, and many of us physically. I remind myself often that we will come through this all someday and stronger for it. My love, thoughts, prayers, and tears are with you all.
