Obituary of Stuart John Titus
Stuart John Titus, 64, passed away on April 15, 2020, following a short illness.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Stuart was a long-time resident of Belvidere, New Jersey. He was born in Paterson, New Jersey, the son of Hattie M. and John L. Titus.
Stuart combined boundless energy, good humor and creativity with a passion for detail. He shared these gifts through his music, playing in many popular bands, including The Bad Boys, Clique and Party Dolls among others. He founded and worked tirelessly restoring old houses through his business "Archive Restorations." His work was featured extensively in Victorian Homes magazine, providing inspiration to hundreds of thousands of old-house lovers. He also volunteered his time and talents to the Belvidere Youth Football Association and to local school events.
Stuart is survived by his wife, Patricia, sons, Jared, Nathan, and Ian, daughters-in-law Karen and Tricia, grandsons Isaac and Ezra, brother, Robert and sister Catherine.
A celebration of Stuart's life and legacy will take place at his family's home in Asbury, New Jersey, once the Covid-19 health crisis has passes.
