Obituary of Muriel E Breslin

Muriel E. Breslin, age 98 of Bethlehem PA formerly of Washington NJ passed on December 1, 2020 at her residence at Country Meadows Assisted Living. Born August 16, 1922, Muriel is the daughter of the late William and the late Lulu Wilson. Her beloved husband James Breslin predeceased her on December 14, 2008.

Muriel was born and raised in Hampton, NJ and was a 1939 Graduate of Hampton High School. Muriel worked as an office bookkeeper for the Hampton Coal and Lumber, Law Office of Arthur Alexander and lastly Breslin – Pritchard Insurance Agency in which she retired from.

An avid square dancer, Muriel and her late husband James were members of the Warren Wheelers and the Washington United Methodist Church. Together they loved to travel and vacation in Hawaii. Muriel was also very active in her Country Meadow community, playing pinochle and bingo were her favorite.

Muriel loved being a grandmother and enjoyed being with them. She also enjoyed her yearly visits to Florida.

Surviving Muriel are her children, daughter Kathleen A. Vlossak and her companion Terry Yetter of Washington; two sons, Thomas J. and his wife Bonnie of Oldsmar, FL and William B. and his wife Linda of Washington, NJ; grandchildren, Lynn, Colleen, Jessica, Bradley, Jeffrey, Derek and Daniel; great grandchildren, Brian, Melinda, Melissa, Zeke, Ethan, Kelly, Brianna, Brooke, Joey, Jack and Reagan; great-great grandchild Haydin. Muriel also leaves behind her beloved Parrott Ariel.

Services will be held privately by the family, those who wish may view the service via livestream on Saturday December 12, 2020 at 10:30 am. Muriel will be inurned with her beloved husband James at the Northampton Memorial Shrine in Easton PA.
