Obituary of Mary Hahn

Filomena (Mary) Hahn of Washington, New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly on February 8th, 2022, at the age of 67. Mary was born on  March 30th, 1955, in Jersey City, New Jersey, to parents Charles and Madeline Thomas. Mary grew up in Bergen County and graduated from North Bergen High School in 1973. On November 15th, 1980, Mary married the love of her life Peter Hahn Sr. Together Mary and Peter moved out to Mansfield Township where they raised their beloved son Peter Hahn Jr. and have resided in Warren County for over 25 years. Mary worked as a homemaker for most of her life, and made sure that both Peter Sr. and Jr. were well taken care of. Mary most recently was blessed with two granddaughters Lizi and Charlotte whom she adored and loved spending time with them and watching them grow. In her free time you could often catch Mary watching Comedy Central on television and loved a good laugh. 

Mary was an amazing Wife and Mother and will be dearly missed by her husband Peter Hahn Sr., her son Peter Hahn Jr. and his wife Bela, and her granddaughters Lizi and Charlotte. She is predeceased by her parents Charles and Madeline Thomas and her brothers David Thomas and Phillip Thomas. 

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Tuesday, February 15th, 2022, from 6pm until 8pm at Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service, located at 142 West Washington Avenue, Washington, New Jersey 07882. Cremation will be held privately following the service.
