Obituary of Darla Jean Kehle

Darla Jean Kehle, 58, of Lebanon Township, passed away on Friday June 2, 2023, at Hackettstown Medical Center. She was born on October 7, 1964, in Phillipsburg, NJ and was the daughter of the late Arthur Nelsen and Doris (née Flyte) Nelsen.

Darla was a graduate of North Hunterdon High School and worked for many years at M & M Mars, in Hackettstown. Darla dedicated most of her life to raising her grandchildren. She enjoyed teaching them many life skills, especially gardening and planting beautiful flowers.

Darla is survived by her daughters, Jessica Sagan and Amanda Mondello; longtime companion, David Darois; brothers, Kevin, Artie, and George Nelsen; grandchildren, Jenna and Logan; stepsons, Robert Darois and David Darois Jr. and his wife Ruby. Also surviving are her step grandchildren, Brayden and Jakob.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, June 10th, from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 142 West Washington Avenue, Washington NJ. 07882.
