My sincerest condolences to the whole family. Caren was beautiful, inside & out, a very thoughtful & caring person! I remember in the beginning of 2019 when I was in the hospital, she & Jon came to visit me and she brought me one of those soft, fuzzy, throw blankets which I just loved and STILL sleep with today! Caren cared about EVERYONE and wanted to make them feel comfortable. (She also made the best “comfort” food!)
Caren's family, along with everyone who knew her, are definitely feeling her loss right now because she was such a good & kind person, but simply being a “good” person isn’t going to get you into Heaven. Caren loved and accepted Jesus as her personal Savior, so we KNOW that she’s enjoying the splendors of heaven right now and we who are saved, WILL be reunited with her in heaven someday! So we don’t “mourn as those who have no hope” (1 Thessalonians 4:13). Jesus said in John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” There is one God and one mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5-6). It’s wonderful to have that “Blessed Assurance” of our eternal home in heaven!
