Obituary of Darwin Lester Rush

Darwin Lester Rush born on August 13, 1936, to Lester T. and Mildred Viola (Woolf) Rush. Darwin passed away on April7, 2024, after a brief illness.

Darwin was a farmer most of his life, dad loved his little gentleman farm and growing his own food, for his family. Dad loved chickens and anytime on his farm, you could get eggs or feathers to tie fishing flies Darwin loved his siblings and had a close relationship with them. Every summer dad, would go to his annual Rush reunion. He so loved those reunions and catching up with family. Darwin worked for Ethyl Vis-queen  Manufacturing, for 50 years and retired in 2005.

Darwin is predeceased by his wife Patricia Ann(Miller) Rush. They were married 66 years. Darwin lost the love of his life in 2021. Darwin is also predeceased by two children Kimberly and Darwin L. Rush Jr. ; siblings Francis (George) Homa, Leona (Tommy) Walz and Daryl (Marie) Rush and parents Lester T. and Mildred Viola (neè Woolf ) Rush.

Surviving family members include; Darwin’s sons, David A. Rush, Michael and Nancy Rush, Dale and Cindy Rush and Mark E. Rush. Darwin’s daughter Lisa Toles (neè Rush) and spouse William. Darwin has 10 grandchildren and 12 great grand children.
