Obituary of Margaret Anna Burd

Margaret Anna (nee Miller) Burd, age 62, of Glen Gardner,NJ, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024.  Margaret was born on June 21, 1961, in Hackettstown to Ralph and Ella (nee Hoover) Miller.

Margaret was a graduate of Voorhees High School located in High Bridge, NJ. Most recently she had worked as a transporter for Heath Village, located in Hackettstown, NJ. She married her husband, Harry, on February 11, 1984.  Together they raise three children; Harry, Allen, and Rebecca, who she adored. She was blessed with two grandchildren, Rachel and Alex.

Margaret's greatest joy was her family. She loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.  She was their biggest fan, cheering them on as she attended all their sports games.

Margaret will be forever missed by her husband, Harry Kenneth Burd III; son, Harry K. Burd IV and his fiancee Falon Pane; daughter, Rebecca Burd and her husband Chuy Dominguez; her grandchildren, Rachel and Alex; and her brother, Larry Miller and his children Sarah, Danielle, and Lindsley. 

Margaret is predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Ella Miller; her son, Allen Burd; and her sister, Sandy Miller.

In accordance with Margaret's wishes all services will be held privately by her family.  Margaret is in the care of Knoll-DeVoe Funeral Home & Cremation Service, located at 142 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882.
