Buck and I would sit for hours in front on the porch or out back. We would watch the kids playing and chat about everything. I loved listening to bucks stories or him growing up, his history and his life when he was younger. He was nearly 40 years older than me but one of my best friends. I never bored of his spontaneous songs or colorful jokes. He was the only grandfather figure figure my kids had. He lived next door to me. Pop pop was never boring. Now that he's gone things have changed forever.im blessed to have known him, blessed to have had him in our life. He knew we loved him and he loved us. What I will always remember is he never let the sun go down without saying " I love you" and a hug. I will miss giving him hugs and I love you's, cutting his hair, listening to his songs, taking him for drives in my car, bringing him for coffee, siting and chatting. He's gone but never forgotton. I'm sorry his family have lost him because he was amazing.
