Obituary of Jacob Castner

Jacob S. Castner, Jr., 74, of Phillipsburg, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at St. Luke's Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ. Jacob was born on May 16, 1938 in Changewater, NJ. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Sr. and Sadie ( nee Collins) Castner. Jacob was an avid NASCAR fan, he enjoyed fishing and farming. He loved being outdoors in the country. He is survived by two sons, Charles Castner of AZ, Steven Castner of PA, two daughters, Christina Castner of NJ, and Jessica Luce of NJ, three sisters, Janet Sigman of NC, Shirley Chamberlain of NJ, and Susan Trianceria of NJ, and seven granchildren. Family and friends may call on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the DeVoe Funeral Service, Inc., 136 West Washington Ave., Washington, NJ 07882. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. An inurnment will follow service in Musconetcong Valley Cemetery, Hampton, NJ.
