Obituary of Ellwood Van Norman

Ellwood Dale Van Norman 65 of Milford NJ, died on February 4, 2010 in Celebration Florida. He was born in Phillipsburg NJ, November 23, 1944. He was the son of the late Elwood and Gladys Dalrymple Van Norman. Dale has been a Telephone Technician for Century Link Telephone in Clinton NJ for the past 42 years. Dale served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He belonged to the Northlandz Train Club in Flemington NJ. Dale was a past Elder for the Alexandria First Presbyterian Church in Alexandria Twp NJ. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, the former Carol Hann, two sons Thomas and his wife Kelly of Lower Saucon Twp PA, and David and his wife Sarah of Holland Twp NJ, a daughter Lisa Schneider and her husband Roger of Holland Twp NJ, a sister Sarah Evans of Rapid City SD and 10 grandchildren, Brianna, Brayden, Hanna, Bryce, Isabella, Isaac, Samuel, Zachary, Maegen and Naomi. Visitation hours will be on Thursday from 6-8PM and Friday morning 9:30-11 AM in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ 07882. Funeral Services in the DeVoe Funeral Service on Friday at 11 AM. Burial will follow in the Musconetcong Valley Cemetery Hampton NJ.
