So sorry to hear of George's passing. He always spoke highly of family and friends. He was the best "boss" back in the good old days at Marlboro and made coming to work a pleasure. RIP my friend!

Dear Sara and family, We were so sorry to hear of George's passing. He was a great guy. David worked with him at the phone company over 50 years ago. George and you were always so supportive of me when I worked for the Washington Two. BOE which was greatly appreciated. He always had a big smile and a kind word. He will be missed. Praying God will comfort you. Please give Gene a hug for me. With love and prayers.

George , Was my hero. When I was being bullied. As a kid..My hero showed up. George understood me. I had A speech defect.. and when I return to Washington. George showed up at the strangest times and places. A lot of times we met at the scrap yard in Belvidere. And it was not planned. I waited every year for Jingle Bell Junction cuz I knew I see George there. Jingle Bell Junction will never be the the same... all the cookies were great but George friendship was much much better. George. R.I.P
I'm just glad to know we'll see George again. Cuz she'll be security at the Pearly Gates

George was a Ford truck man back in the day. I remember his quote being, “if it doesn’t have an F in front of it, it ain’t a truck!”
