Obituary of Dorothy Gyuricza

Dorothy "Dot" Gyuricza 84 of Washington NJ died Friday December 26 2014 in St Lukes Hospital Fountain Hill PA. She was born in Washington NJ October 17, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Phillip and Agnes (Nuismer) Ries. Dot was a homemaker for many years caring for her loving family. In her earlier years she had worked at the Leacock Table Cloth factory in Washington. After it closed she cleaned houses for several families in the Washington area. She attended Washington High School. Besides her family, she loved gardening and was proud of her vegetables and flowers that she grew. Dot was a long time member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Washington Borough Fire Department. She also attended the United Methodist Church in Washington NJ. Surviving Dot is her husband Paul. They would have been married 64 years on December 30th. Also surviving are sons Paul Jr and his wife Diane of Martins Creek, Phil and his companion Dot Garden of Easton PA, and Alan and his wife Simone of Washington NJ, a daughter Cathy Gyuricza of Washington NJ, a sister Barbara Schutts of Maine and 4 grandchildren Danielle, Mercedes, Casey and Will. Calling Hours will be Monday December 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 in the DeVoe Funeral Service. Services will be Tuesday December 30th at 11AM in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave, Washington NJ. The Interment will follow in the Montana Cemetery, Harmony Twp NJ.
