To the family, I would like to offer my deepest sympathy for your loss. I worked with Doris at Rossi for years. She was always able to make me laugh even if I was having a bad day, she always seemed to brighten it. She was there for me in both good and bad times, she truly was a very good friend whom I will greatly miss and never forget.

I have known Doris for over 30 years, she was one in a million friend as being a very kind and generous person who never ever had an unkind word to say about anyone and was always smiling no matter what the situation. I met you when I was 14... New to the state, town and school. You saw that I was scared on my first day and approached me and took me under the Angel wings that you had then. I will never forget that. Later on you babysat my children while I worked and they loved you so much. We lost touch for a while after I moved back to PA, but I found you on Facebook and I was so happy that we reconnected. We chatted into the wee hours of the morning until I took a job on first shift, then we only connected once in a while. I used to love all your animal posts and hope that the rainbow bridge connects to Heaven so you can see your beloved Jerry again. Miss you and Love you.. Till we meet again. <3

Doris was a kind and generous person and a good neighbor and friend. Whenever we remember living in Washington, we remember Doris. I remember whenever it snowed, she would be at my door wanting me to take a walk with her while it was snowing. She never had an unkind thing to say and was always smiling. We are so sorry for your loss. She was a bright light in a lot of lives and will be missed.
