Obituary of Doris Romanowitch
Doris M. Romanowitch, 61, of Washington, NJ passed away at home surrounded by her family on March 18, 2015.
Doris was born on March 10, 1954 to James and Marion (Nemeth) McIntyre in Hampton, NJ.
She attended Warren Hills High School. She then worked as a Title Clerk for Rossi Auto in Washington, NJ. Doris was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a cheering coach for the Washington Redskins and a wrestling cheer coach. She attended Washington Faith Discovery Church where she taught Sunday School and was very active in the church.
Doris is survived by her husband Joseph of Washington, NJ, her mother Marion McIntyre of Lopatcong Township, NJ; a daughter Angela Valle and her husband Mark of Nazareth, PA; a brother James of Hampton, NJ; sisters Linda Strunk of Bangor, Pa, Patricia Collins of Easton, PA, and Tammy Salas of Bangor, PA; and two grandchildren Coy and Colten.
A Viewing will be held on Sunday March 22 from 5-8 pm at the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 W. Washington Ave. Washington, NJ 07882. The Funeral Service will follow on Monday March 23, 2015 at 11:30 AM at the Faith Discovery Church 33 Brass Castle Road Washington, NJ 07882. The Rev. Jerry Scott will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Pequest Union Cemetery.
